Our Community Life. . .

At Little Ivy, we believe our children and their families are part of a wider community that includes classmates, teachers, extended families and the towns we live in. To help everyone get (and stay) connected, we offer a wide variety of opportunities for you and your family to participate in community activities both at Little Ivy Learning Center and in the wider community around us.

We offer lots of fun ways for you to meet other parents including family fun nights, parades,  parent get-togethers, supporting your children’s Kickball teams, joining us in downtown Ridgewood for Touch-a-Truck and meeeting up with us to visit with Santa at the annual Ridgewood tree lighting, and much more!

There is no pressure to volunteer. Instead we try to provide opportunities for you to participate if you can. With our busy lives, we know that there are times that you just cannot add another responsibility to your pile, but we also know that when the time is available, many parents enjoy volunteering.  Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents and we offer plenty of opportunities from just helping out for an hour at family fun night or during on-campus visits by Ridgewood Firefighters and other community helpers, all the way to volunteering to coach a kickball team.
